The mission of the CoalBlue Project is to identify, organize, educate and mobilize Americans across the nation in support of coal as part of a sensible “all of the above” energy strategy and a cornerstone of a sustainable energy future for the United States and the world.

Our goal, as a coalition of Democrats, is to achieve a broad, bipartisan and unwavering commitment to coal as a sustainable fuel, and the accelerated development and deployment of advanced technologies.

What is sustainable coal?

In order to meet growing worldwide demand and maintain America’s economic and technological dominance, we must innovate the next generation of sustainable energy resources. Coal, which is on pace this decade to become the dominant energy source across the globe, is a vital piece of the puzzle.

Sustainable coal will make for a sustainable world.
